Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Dana Garza. Becoming an educator has been a dream of mine since the second grade!
As and educator, my goal it to guide my students to connect new information to what they already know, creating knew understanding of the how and why, and look at things in a new perspectives. Together we can transcend to critical thinking, advance skills, and pave the way for furture careers. I feel the purpose of education is more than providing facts for one to simply memorize and recite, but to challenge a person to expand their mind, create understanding, and develop strategies to overcome a multitude of adversities.
I consider our classroom as a community in which all memebers (staff, students, parents and guardians) work together building a healthy and positive relationship.
